...because you still have your sense of fun.
Two different photos were used in this sweetened output. I took these photographs during one dull day shopping for groceries. I was able to chance a guy inside a van, texting and oblivious to the outside world, his right leg dangling out the window. On the way back to my place, the bright yellow tone of a parked jeepney side aroused my interest to do some collage.
Using Adobe Photoshop CS3, I montaged these two images for this “ironic composition,” mostly applying on Pen Tool, Add Layer Mask and other added glory like Hue & Saturation.
The Quick How-To:
Without a Pen Tool (CTRL + P on Photoshop’s shortcut keys), life would be impossible to start on the creative canvas. By meticulously cutting an image, you’ll have to learn the “nuts and bolts” on creating paths, and with steady hands for the curvature modification for your anchor point adjustments (also called nodes or Bezier points) — each time you click, a new anchor is created. The Pen Tool adds to its versatility the ease and sophistication for drawing vector shapes. These vectors can be resized without image loss.
Try experimenting your way. As the saying goes, "putting new wine into old skins," it's always fun to explore different but novel approaches.
